Exterior

✔ Inspect your roof from the ground for missing or damaged shingles.

✔ Check flashing around chimneys, vents, and skylights.

✔ Clean gutters and downspouts.

✔ Make sure downspouts discharge several feet away from your foundation.

✔ Inspect siding for cracks, loose panels, or peeling paint.

✔ Look for damaged caulking around windows and doors.

Foundation

Walk around your home and look for:

Cracks
Settlement
Poor grading
Standing water
Soil pulling away from the foundation

Water should always drain away from your house.

Decks

Inspect for:
